About This Project
War is often measured in strategies, weapons, and political outcomes. But behind every number lies something far more important — human lives, lost futures, and irreversible damage.
The Iran Military Cost Tracker is an independent digital project created to provide a real-time estimate of Iran's military spending during the ongoing conflict. The goal is not to take sides, but to present a transparent and understandable perspective on how much is being spent — and what that means in real-world terms.
The figures displayed on this website are based on available open-source intelligence (OSINT), verified reports, and analytical estimations. While every effort is made to maintain accuracy, all numbers should be considered approximate and may vary by 5–10%.
Importantly, this platform focuses only on direct military costs such as operations, equipment, and logistics. It does not include broader economic damage, infrastructure destruction, or long-term societal impacts — which could multiply the total cost several times over.
To help visualize the scale of spending, this website translates financial figures into real-world equivalents — such as how many homes, schools, hospitals, or humanitarian services could have been funded instead.
This project is intended for informational and awareness purposes only. It does not promote violence, conflict, or political agendas. Its purpose is to encourage reflection on the true cost of war — not just financially, but morally and humanly.
If humanity can spend billions on war in just a few days, it also has the power to invest those same resources into peace, development, and saving lives.
All data is presented for educational and informational purposes only.

We hope for a future where numbers like these no longer need to exist.
